  1. Day 1 ESQUEL: HUEMULES, Mountain Reserve

    Arrive at Esquel ( EQS) Airport and transfer to Huemules Mountain Reserve. This new
    and the amazing project is located in Estancia Huemules, on the Rivadavia Mountain Range,
    22 km from Esquel, Chubut province.
    It will provide the purest contact with Nature without leaving aside the comfort of a big
    room with a private bathroom, Patagonian cuisine, and the kindest service, as well as a wide
    variety of adventurous activities within the marvelous view of Patagonia.
    6.100 hectares of the natural reserve with snowy mountain summits, streams, and forest of
    original species. You will travel along 1100 m of slopes and 50km of wild and rough road,
    next to Los Alerces National Park.
    The trips will take about 1 hour from the Airport.
    From Buenos Aires Domestic Airport (AEP), there are daily flights and have a duration of
    2,10hs. Or you can combine your stay with Bariloche destination, only 300km distance,
    Bariloche receives 12 daily flights.
    You will overnight in a DOME, full equipped: 28 m2 each, Private bathroom, hot water
    Wood replaces, 220v electricity, Deck and private balcony, Panoramic Views.

  2. Day 2 Huemules Mountain Reserve

    After breakfast, you will enjoy the activity chosen the night before with your guide.
    As regard entertainment that imply movement, Huemules offer all kinds of recreational
    and sports outdoor activities during summer and winter.
    Concerning relaxation, is it the impressive natural scenery of snowy mountains, forest
    and streams surrounded by silence and solitude that will provide the perfect
    the atmosphere for relaxation and contemplation.

  3. Day 3 HUEMULES, Mountain Reserve

    Apart from the mentioned activities that you can set up in destination according to
    availability, you will be able to enjoy the typical Patagonian gastronomy at Huemules.
    Huemules is a wonderful and full Patagonia experience worth enjoying.
    The Full Board program include:

  4. Day 4 HUEMULES- ESQUEL: LA TROCHITA

    You will be taken to Esquel (30 minutes) to board the La Trochita steam train.
    One of the characteristics of the railway that the Trochita train runs along is the
    narrowness of its gauge of only 75 centimeters (29.5 inches). This railway has changed
    little since 1922 and there are a number of unique steam engines. The train will run to
    and from Nahuel Pan, some 200 meters (650 feet) higher up through a ravine where you
    will see magnificent views of the steppe, baked from the activity of ancient volcanoes,
    and of Nahuel Pan mountain (Mynydd Llwyd). The author Paul Theroux in his book ’The Old Patagonian Express’ describes his journey from Boston, USA, to Esquel and his arrival
    on the Trochita. The journey takes about 4 hours.
    On your arrival, transfer to your hotel. Hosteria Canela is an owner-hosted bed-and-breakfast
    hotel, your home away from home in Esquel. It has the feeling of a typical
    Patagonian farm homestead: an amiable and homely atmosphere you will enjoy. The
    the charming house has 6 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and offers the
    European-style comfort you will appreciate after a long day of traveling through this
    immense, striking region

  5. Day 5 ESQUEL: PARQUE NACIONAL LOS ALERCES

    Today we offer a Full Day Tour to Los Alerces National Park.
    The Park is one of the largest in Argentina and has a land area of 263,000 hectares
    (650,000 acres – about the same size as the county of Gwynedd in North Wales). The
    park’s characteristic feature is the Alerces forests. There are very few traces of human
    activity and the park is bursting with magnificent landscapes, lakes, rivers, and numerous
    waterfalls, all surrounded by the Andes mountains swathed in thick forests. The Alerce
    tree is a Patagonian cypress and some examples in the park approach 3,000 years of age
    and 70 meters (230 feet) in height. You will embark on a lake cruise, where you will be
    able to take pleasure in the spectacle of the Torrecillas glacier as you navigate the
    numerous inlets of these beautiful lakes. On the distant shore of Lago Futalaufquen is a
    footpath that you will be guided along to see examples of the Alerce tree.

  6. Day 6 ESQUEL- TREVELIN-FUTALEUFU

    Today we suggest a visit to Trevelin. An opportunity to wander about Trevelin and enjoy
    the views of Gorsedd y Cwmwl Mountain and the Andean range. Historical tour of Cwm
    Hyfryd. Welsh pioneers first arrived in Cwm Hyfryd in 1885 during an expedition to
    explore the whole of the newly funded Territory of Chubut. By 1888, the first colonizers
    arrived to settle on the banks of the Río Percy which flows through Trevelin. By 1918, a
    company headed by J. D. Evans built a flour mill and the village of Trevelin flourished
    around it. You will visit the historical museum, which is located in the old mill. Another
    historical museum that you will visit is the old Escuela 18 at Pentre Sydyn in the Aber
    Gyrraints valley, which records the events of the 1902 plebiscite that helped to solve the
    territorial claims of Argentina and Chile over the region.
    In Trevelin, you will be able to take a typical Welsh Tea.
    After that, transfer to Futaleufu. Once in Futaleufu, you will arrive at Pata Lodge. Pata is
    another different Experience chosen for this itinerary.
    How about rafting on a river made of meltwater from the Andes? Or walking through a
    huge forest of hundred-year-old trees? Or leave it all for later and falling asleep feeling
    the warmth of a fireplace? At the Pata Lodge, you have all these options and many more.

    Surrounded by spectacular landscapes, with a rustic aspect and very comfortable

  7. Day 7 FUTALEFU IN PATA LODGE- RUTA DE LAS AGUAS (Chile)

    Today we offer a 4hs Rafting Tour in Futaleufu River.
    The Futaleufú River is one of the premier whitewater rivers in the world for kayaking
    and rafting. The river flows in from Argentina, through the town, and empties into
    the fjord-shaped Yelcho Lake. Day trips are available on ”the Futa” while several of its
    tributaries, such as the Espolón River and the Azul (Blue) River, can be rafted, canoed,
    or navigated.
    Two lakes, Lake Lonconao and Lake Espolón offer opportunities for paddling and SUP.
    Other nearby attractions include the Futaleufú National Reserve, known for its
    population of Huemul South Andean deer. Canyoning and rappelling are also possible in
    region valleys, with their numerous ravines and waterfalls as well as horse riding, fly
    fishing, and mountain biking.
    Divided into different levels, these activities are led by qualified and experienced
    guides and are based on availability, climatic conditions, and confirmation from our
    local suppliers.
    Apart from the mainstream activities, there are many other options inside Pata farms
    like Yoga classes, outdoor cinema, harvest, beekeeping, sheep breeding, and many
    more.

  9. Day 9 PATA LODGE- PUYUHUAPI RUTA DE LAS AGUAS (Chile)

    Today we suggest leaving Pata Lodge in the morning and enjoy your trip to Puyuhuapi
    driving through the beautiful Carretera Austral.
    Puyuhuapi Lodge, in Chilean Patagonia, is a remote and exclusive spa. Ideal for
    adventure and disconnection, this will be the perfect way to end your trip. You will need
    travel by road through Carretera Austral and cross by boat towards a quiet bay where
    you will spot Puyuhuapi Lodge & SPA and its beautiful architecture amidst stunning
    vegetation.

  11. Day 11 PUYUHUAPI LODGE & SPA/ OUT

    Transfer to Balmaceda Airport to take your flight out.
    Note: Passengers driving by themselves, should return by Esquel Airport ( in order to drop
    off the car). In this case, the itinerary needs to add 1 night in Futaleufu.

    END OF THE SERVICES
