Another visit, another way.

A route that links the landscape and history; the Roca lake and the National Park.

The old Route 15 connects histories of the Patagonia: original towns, pioneers and settlers. A path of steppe, glaciers indices and different hulls of stay.

Within the PNLG the ñires forest announces the arrival at the Estancia Nibepo Aike. There we visit its hull enjoying the rural atmosphere, later to taste a typical roast campero in the table of South Glacier.

In the afternoon we embark in one of the semi-rigid cabins “Hauthal / Guardaparque Fonzo” to navigate the South arm and the Rico, accompanied by the guided tour and the views of the lake, the Adriana, the Moreno and Magellan peninsula preparing to visit Perito Moreno Glacier.

Disembarking at Playa de las Monedas, we hike through a forest of lengas towards the Glacier Sur viewpoint. Then we sail to Bajo de las Sombras to visit the footbridges and to be around 2 hours in front of the glacier.

Finally, we start the return route from the Lake to El Calafate having made a circuit that links stays, Lake Roca, part of the Argentine and the Perito Moreno Glacier. Nature, history and culture of the area.

This excursions is only for people over 12 years and up to 65 years old with good physical condition and hiking experience in mountain environment.
