    All about the MENDOZA – Wine Gastronomic experience.

    -The wineries visited are subject to availability at the moment of the booking request. Many of them are open some particular days in the week.

    -Optional tour to High Mountain and Aconcagua National Park.

    1. Day 1 MENDOZA

      Upon arrival, welcome at Mendoza airport and private transfer to your hotel with English speaking guide.

    2. Day 2 MENDOZA WINE EXPERIENCE IN LUJÁN DE CUYO

      Morning private departure from your hotel with English speaking guide to the wine region of Luján de Cuyo.

      We will visit Norton winery, with 120 years of winemaking heritage in a beautiful location in the foothills of the Andes.

      You will be able to create your own “blend” wine, combining varietals and discovering aromas, textures and complexity.

      Welcome glass at the Wine Bar of the winery with an amazing view of “Cordón del Plata” (Andes Mountains). Then enjoy and learn about the winemaking process of a blend wine and its label while playing at being “Winemaker for a day”. The bottle you create will be your souvenir.  A cheese selection is included during the activity.

      Then, the day continues to visit Ruca Malén winery with an exquisite 6-course lunch included. Ruca Malen’s dream began in 1998 when Jean Pierre Thibaud and Jacques Louis de Montalembert confessed to each other the desire to build their own winery in Mendoza. Its restaurant was awarded in 2013 with the Global Best Of Wine Tourism award as ”Best experience in the world winery restaurant”. In it you can enjoy their iconic six-step menu paired with wines from the Yauquén, Ruca Malen and Kinién lines. This gastronomic proposal is based on the use of local products, including herbs and vegetables that are grown in their own organic garden.

    3. Day 3 MENDOZA WINE EXPERIENCE IN UCO VALLEY

      Morning private departure with English speaking guide to discover the Southern booming wine area: Uco Valley.

       

      We will start with Domaine Bousquet winery, surrounded by a great view of the lake, the andes and vineyards.

      The Bousquet family camel from Carcassonne, in France and have 4 generations of history in the winemaking tradition. Their passion to produce superior quality wines leaded them to start a new chapter in Argentina.

      You will be able to know about the organic wines process and the difference with conventional ones. A wine tasting with a cheese selection with homemade bread is included.

       

       

       

       

       

      We continue visiting La Azul, a smaller winery with different varieties of wines for different tastes: a line of young wines without oak, varietals (Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc); another line with more intense aromas and tannins (the Reserve ones) with different periods of time in French and American oak barrels.

      Lunch will be served in Andeluna. The construction of this cellar was completed in 2005, combining the latest technology with the ideal architectural design. Visit the winery and taste its delicious courses paired with perfect wines.

    4. Day 4 MENDOZA WINE EXPERIENCE IN MAIPÚ AREA

      Morning private departure with English speaking guide to Maipú area to Zuccardi winery. Located 40 km southeast of the capital city of Mendoza and lying at an average elevation of 650 meters above sea level, Maipú estate has 180 hectares of vineyard. Here, the conduction systems known s parral (high trellis) which was introduced in Argentina by Italian immigrants towards the ed of the XIX century and later adjusted by engineer Alberto Zuccardi is used.

      Welcome with a soft breakfast in Pan & Oliva restaurant in Zuccardi, then enjoy a cooking class. Guided by the chef, we will be visiting the organic orchard to harvest the vegetables for the menu. After the class, visit and taste the local olive oils and enjoy a 3-course lunch.

       

      Then, return to your hotel.

       

      Finally, dinner in Trapiche winery, a Florentine style building of 1912. It is an icon of Mendoza´s wine architecture, a blend of past and present. The winery offers the ideal location for a dialog between tradition and cutting-edge technology in the production of premium wines. Taste its 3-course menu paired with different wines and enjoy a winery night visit.

    5. Day 5 MENDOZA OUT

      Private farewell transfer from the hotel to Mendoza airport.
