    Bustamante Bay is a paradise to discover. Depending on the state of the tide and the climate, each day defines the exploration activities of the area.
    Ideal for lovers of nature, the place offers different activities such as bird watching and sea lions, visit to the petrified forest, interpretation of the industry, visit to a typical Patagonian estancia, trekking, horseback riding and mountain biking.
    In addition, it is possible to enjoy its exclusive beaches of white sand and crystal clear water, framed among deep reddish rocks, which provide an incredible frame of textures and colors.

    1. Day 1 BUENOS AIRES

      Arrival in Buenos Aires, welcome at the airport and private transfer from Ezeiza International Airport to the hotel with English Speaking guide.
      Overnight in Buenos Aires, standard room.

    2. Day 2 BUENOS AIRES - CITY TOUR

      After breakfast, Half Day Buenos Aires City Tour (SIB)
      We will visit Buenos Aires’ most traditional and picturesque points. Buenos Aires is a city that combines the European style with the Latin American spirit. In this tour, you will discover its characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture and its best stories. We will visit the center of the city, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, with stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta.
      Afternoon return to the hotel.

    3. Day 3 BUENOS AIRES- BAHIA BUSTAMANTE -TREKKING ALONG ARISTIZABAL CAPE

      After breakfast, private transfer from the hotel to the airport in Buenos Aires to take the flight to Comodoro Rivadavia (without guide)
      Flight to Comodoro Rivadavia (it is not included).
      Upon arrival, you will pick up your Car for rent fo travel from Comodoro Rivadavia airport to Bahia Bustamente. The journey takes about 3 hs ( 190 km).
      Welcome in Bahia Bustamante on time for lunch. Check in. Afterwards, we will enjoy a historic city tour around the town. We will also visit the working place where the seaweed harvest is carried out. There we get to know a varied number of species being marketed by our company, their processes and uIn the afternoon, we will enjoy a 4×4 drive to reach Aristizabal Cape, an important rockery cape, which is characterized by its imposing landscape, dominated by the sea, the stone beaches and fauna. During the way, apart from enjoying the beautiful coastal landscape, we will also be able to observe all kinds of Steppe fauna. Once we reach Aristizabal Lighthouse, we will trek to see Sea Lions, which usually rest here. This is also a nesting area for much kind of marine birds.
      According to the tide table and weather conditions, activities for next day will be coordinated.

    4. Day 4 BAHIA BUSTAMANTE: NAVIGATION TO MALASPINA COVE & TREKKING AROUND GRAVIÑA PENINSULA WITH PENGUIN ISLAND

      After breakfast, we gather at the grocery store and assess the weather report and the tide tables to determine whether sailing is possible. We get on the boat and sail along the seaweed fields where we come across vessels working on the seaweed harvest. Later we sail on the mussel crops and tell you all about the breeding online system we use. Finally we come near the islands that are within the cove, approach the Roca Malaspina to continue sailing down the archipelago made up by the Vernacci Islands. While sailing, we can contemplate Sea Lion colonies (3,500 animals during the breeding season), Penguins (100,000) and colorful Marine Bird colonies. Then we moor the boat and return to the village for lunch.

      In the afternoon, we will explore Graviña Peninsula, a 70 km Peninsula of sandy beaches, crystal clear water and reddish rocks. A combination of 4×4 wheel drive and trekking. If the tide is low, natural swimming pools are formed in the rocks, ideal to take a bath if the weather is good. The peninsula also houses an archeological site. Afterwards, we will visit Penguin Island: Just 15 minutes away from the town by 4×4, this island is home to a small colony of Magellan Penguins. During low tide it is possible to reach the island on foots, giving us the privilege of observing penguins and their nests closely. During the way we will also be able to observe all kinds of Steppe fauna.

    5. Day 5 BAHIA BUSTAMANTE: PETRIFIED FOREST & RANCH DAY

      After breakfast, we take internal tracks within our private land driving almost 18 miles (30 km) till we arrive to the Petrified Forest. At the gully, we travel 60 million years ago to be able to interpret the different pieces. On foot, we arrive at “the Pyramid” where it is possible to listen to Patagonian silence. We can return walking all along the edge of the hill till we find ourselves again at the starting point.
      Back to the village to have lunch.
      In the afternoon, you will learn about wool production: Bahía Bustamante is part of a group of 3 Estancias which add up more than 80.000 hectares. In Estancia Las Mercedes you will understand the production process of wool and meat, and according to the season, you may participate of a day’s work, visiting the corrals and learning about the different activities carried out: shearing, weaning, classification or marking of the sheep. When shearing begins in early August, the group of workers gathers up in one of the Estancias and then, after the job is done they move on to the next Estancia. A very intense month’s work! Sheep shearing in Bahia Bustamante starts in August, we have more than 20.000 animals. As from August the Estancias activity calendar is very varied, and is in constant move until the end of April.
      Shear in August, marking in November and December, weaning in January and February, classification of the animals towards the end of February, the Ram Sale in February, and insemination in May, are part of the main attractions.

    6. Day 6 BAHIA BUSTAMENTE –COMODORO RIVADAVIA– BUENOS AIRES

      Breakfast. Return with your Car of Rent to Comodoro Rivadavia Airport to take your flight.
      Flight to Buenos Aires (it is not included).
      Arrival in Buenos Aires and private transfer from Jorge Newbery National Airport to the hotel (without guide).
