Arriving from El Calafate to the Valley of the Río de las Vueltas and then to the Río Blanco, where we find the Hostería El Pilar. There we will start a walk with the AAGM mountain guide, passing by the Piedras Blancas Glacier Camp. Poincenot, Monte Fitz Roy, up to the Capri Lagoon, where we will find our Base Camp. There they wait for us enjoy a hot lunch, and then continue the descent to El Chalten passing by Laguna Capri. This option requires physical effort, it is only recommended for people in good condition and with appropriate clothing for hiking in the mountains. The walk is approximately 6 hours. At around 5pm we will arrive at El Chalten to meet up with the rest of the group.
Technical difficulty: moderate or hard.
Duration: 13 hours.
