All about the OVERFLIGHT: USHUAIA CITY TO STATES ISLAND – HALF DAY.

The excursion is subject to weather conditions. With the Ushuaia Aeroclub you can fly over this iconic island from the comfort of an airplane, enjoying the best views, in an impressive flight of approximately 3 and a half hours. The overflight begins at the Aeroclub Ushuaia, from where it takes off heading east. The Beagle Channel is flown over to the south of Isla de Tierra del Fuego until reaching the easternmost point of it: Cabo San Diego. From there you cross the Strait of Le Maire (which divides the two islands) and then fly over the southern margin of the Isla de los Estados from west to east until reaching the emblematic Lighthouse San Juan del Salvamento, or as Julio called it Verne: Lighthouse at the End of the World. Once there we begin the return, which can be done in the north of the Mitre Peninsula, to fly over, between other things, the town of Tolhuin (where you can make a stop to know the Bakery and the city at no additional cost), Lake Fagnano, Lake Escondido and the Tierra Mayor Valley.

Flight duration: between 3 hours and 3 hours and 30 minutes.
