In this tour you are going to visit the smallest but one of the most important provincies in the whole country: Tucumán, where the Argentinian independence history began. You will see some beautiful landscapes and try some tasty empanadas and wine too.

  1. DAY 1 SAN MIGUEL DE TUCUMÁN - SITIO JESUÍTICO SAN JOSÉ DE LULES

    Transfer to your hotel. At 10 am you will take the Province Route 301 to go the San José de Lules’ Jesuitic Site, where you are going to asist the Simoca’s Tercentenary Fair. In this fair the local sellers offer the most diverse products like some tasty local food, handcrafts, cane honey, little empanadas and more. Here, the barter of products is still used among the people.

  2. DAY 2 SAN MIGUEL DE TUCUMÁN

    Free morning. At 4 pm you will enjoy a city tour arround San Miguel de Tucumán City where you will learn about the roots of Argentinian history. We will visit the Independence Square and its surroundings: the Goverment House, San Francisco Temple, the Cathedral, La Merced Church, the historic Tucumán’s house (museum), 9 de Julio Park, the Sugar Industry Museum, Bishop Colombres House, Urquiza Squere, the Legislation House, the Casino, San Martín theater, Belgraniana House.
    At 8 pm you will enjoy the Light and Sound Show, which recreates the decisive moments of the Independence Declaration, presented in the Historic House (except on Thursdays). This show will be suspended if rains.

  3. DAY 3 QUEBRADA DE LOS SOSA / LOS MENHRIES / VALLE CALCHAQUÍES / AMAICHA / RUINAS DE QUILMES / TAFÍ DEL VALLE

    At 7:30 am you will depart on Nation Route 38 to outskirt of the twon called Acherales. The roads goes to the Los Sosa River Gorge, and through the Natural Reserve with the same name. Continuing with the trip, you will see the monument called ”El Indio”. Surrounding the La Angostura reservoir you reach El Mollar so you can visit Los Menhires. Then you will visit Tafí de Valle. The same Route keeps ascending until it reaches the Calchaquí Valleys, going through the Abra del Infierno, at 3.042 meters above sea level. You will arrive to Amaicha del Valle where you are going to visit the main square and its surroundings. After, you will go on the National Route 40 and it will take you to Quilmes Sacred City. You will visit a tipical winerie in the Calchaquí Valley.

  4. DAY 4 TAFÍ DEL VALLE / LA QUEBRADITA

    At 10 pm, in Tafí del Valle, you will visit local craftmen and craftwomen. Taking the Province Route 307 you will ascend to the Quebradita so you can enjoy the Pachamama’s Walk. After lunch, you will take Las Carreras road so you can visit more craftmen and craftwomen and some producers from the Valley.

    Transfer from hotel to airport. End of services.
