USHUAIA: GREAT ADVENTURE 4X4 – FULL DAY

The Great 4×4 Adventure takes us North from Ushuaia, where the adventure, the excitement and the best panoramic views of Tierra del Fuego await. This is the most exciting and intense full-day excursion available throughout Ushuaia, where we will go aboard vehicles designed to overcome almost any obstacle that may appear in our way, while exploring majestic landscapes surrounded by mountains, forests and lakes.
Our first stop is Garibaldi Pass at the Andes Range, from where we will see the Lake Escondido, a little wonder hidden at the bottom of a glacial valley. There, the first challenge for the vehicle and the driver begins: a journey through old roads in disuse and through logging paths that lead into the oldest areas of the Fuegian forest. On board our 4×4 vehicles, our expert drivers will lead us to discover the nature of these landscapes through impossible mud paths, that almost completely disappear nearby the coast of Lake Fagnano, the fifth biggest in size in Argentina.
The sights and landscapes that we discovere during this most intense and extensive 4×4 itinerary of Tierra del Fuego are only accessible on board these robust, off-road vehicles that are unique in Patagonia, and also by our skilled, specialized drivers and guides. During the off-road part of tour, almost two hours long in duration, the adrenaline of venturing through all types of terrain will multipliy the enjoyment of discovering wonderful views and of truly feeling within a magical and primitive landscape.
In the serene forest by the coast of Lake Fagnano we have an exclusive refuge, far from the noise of modern life. In a privileged environment, you can enjoy a short walk, and explore the millenary environment of Nature, while our team prepares a typical Argentine “asado”, that we will enjoy along with a Patagonian red wine (Malbec) in a calm, relaxed and natural environment. After this traditional banquet, we will return to the hotel, with the stars of the End of the World leading our way.
All those who want to live a more intimate excursion can have their own guide and their own vehicle in one of our “Tailor made trips”. These private tours allow children under age 11, and the whole family can design their own 4×4 itinerary.

Suggested clothing: Waterproof jacket + fleece jacket. Waterproof walking shoes/trainers with good traction. Hat or cap. Sunglasses.
