The outer edge of the world awaits on an adventurous nine-day (eight-night) journey along the same waterways that inspired Charles Darwin. The itinerary retraces much of the route the renowned British naturalist took through the Fuegian Archipelago aboard HMS Beagle in the 1830s, a voyage that inspired him to write The Origin of the Species and formulate the theory of evolution.
Departing from Punta Arenas, we’ll cross the Strait of Magellan to visit the Tuckers Islets penguin colony, wildlife-rich Ainsworth Bay before cruising Patagonia down the Beagle Channel to visit Pía Glacier and sail through Glacier Alley. On either side of a half-day port call in Ushuaia, the ship stops at historic Wulaia Bay and fabled Cape Horn before returning to the Strait of Magellan and a shore excursion at Magdalena Island with its rowdy penguin colony.

Day 1
Check-in between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM (13:00 – 17:00 hrs). Boarding at 6:00 PM (18:00 hrs).
Welcome toast and introduction of the Captain and crew. Afterwards, the vessel will set sail toward the far south. Navigating through the legendary Strait of Magellan and the Beagle Channel, you will journey through Patagonia and admire the beauty of Tierra del Fuego.
Day 2
At dawn, we will sail through the Almirantazgo Sound to the vicinity of the Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay. We will embark on a hike to discover a beaver dam and explore the stunning sub-Antarctic Magellanic forest that surrounds it.
Continuing our navigation after lunch, we will visit the Tuckers Islets, taking Zodiac boats to spot Magellanic penguins and cormorants. In September and April, this excursion is replaced by a walk near Brookes Glacier.
Day 3
During the day, we will sail through the Northwest Arm of the Beagle Channel and enter Pia Fjord, where we will disembark. We will take an excursion up to a viewpoint to observe the eponymous glacier, whose main tongue extends from high in the mountain range down to the sea, creating an imposing sight that will captivate all passengers.
Following this unforgettable experience, we will continue our navigation past the majestic views of "Glacier Alley" (Avenue of the Glaciers).
Day 4
We will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where we will disembark if weather conditions permit. Known as the "End of the World," it is the southernmost non-Antarctic landmass on Earth.
In the afternoon, we will disembark at Wulaia Bay, a historic site that was once one of the largest settlements of the indigenous Yámana (Yaghan) canoe people. English naturalist Charles Darwin landed here during his voyage. We will hike up to a viewpoint, walking through the Magellanic forest, home to lengas, coigües, canelos (winter's bark), and ferns, among other native species.
Day 5
Arrival in Ushuaia, the most important city in Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost in the world. Disembarkation takes place at 8:30 AM (08:30 hrs). You will have half a day to explore the town, where you can enjoy local restaurants, shops, and museums, among other attractions.
Boarding begins at 5:30 PM (17:30 hrs). The crew, led by the Captain, will welcome you on board with a toast alongside your fellow travelers. Afterward, the vessel will set sail toward the End of the World. Navigating through the Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan, you will journey through Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
Day 6
We will begin the day sailing through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where we will disembark via Zodiac boats if weather conditions permit.
In the afternoon, we will disembark at Wulaia Bay, a historic site that was once one of the most significant settlements of the indigenous Yámana (Yaghan) canoe people. A variety of excursions are offered here, making each visit a unique experience.
Day 7
In the early morning, we will sail through the Northwest Arm of the Beagle Channel to enter and disembark at Pía Fjord. There, we will embark on a hike to a viewpoint overlooking the eponymous glacier. In the afternoon, we will navigate in Zodiac boats between towering rock walls to reach Porter Glacier.
Day 8
During the day, we will disembark via Zodiac boats for an easy hike around a lagoon formed by the melting of Águila Glacier, approaching as close to it as possible.
In the afternoon, we will take another Zodiac excursion to approach Cóndor Glacier. We will learn about the formation of glaciers and their influence on shaping the rugged geography of the Fuegian channels.
Day 9
Early in the morning, weather permitting, we will disembark at Magdalena Island. Here, we will take a walk toward the lighthouse to see an immense colony of Magellanic penguins up close.
NOTE: In September and April, this excursion is replaced by an expedition to Marta Island, where South American sea lions can be spotted from Zodiac boats.
Finally, we will arrive in Punta Arenas. Disembarkation takes place at 11:30 AM (11:30 hrs).
