Discover the fascinating history, beautiful architecture and intriguing neighborhoods of Asunción on this 3-hour private sightseeing trip. Visit the ‘Casa de la Independencia,’ the site where Paraguayan independence was first proclaimed, and check out the city’s main cathedral and historic train station. You’ll also explore Asunción’s National Pantheon of Heroes monument and take a car-based tour of this urban center's key neighborhoods and districts. Walk through the main streets visiting the National Pantheon of Heroes, designed by Italian architect Alejandro Ravizza in collaboration with the builder Giacomo Colombino, where you'll learn about Paraguay's last 200 years of independence. After 30 minutes, continue the tour, walking along the main street Palma until reaching the old building of the "Cabildo". Make your way on foot through the streets towards the new Congress building, and learn about Paraguayan politics, the system of government, composition of political parties and the election system. At 10am, you'll arrive at the esplanade of the Government Palace "Palacio de López", where you'll gain valuable insight into how government affects Paraguayan architecture. Pass by the popular market "Mercado 4 or Pettirossi". At approximately 11:30am, you'll head to the main business area, passing by new shopping centers, banks and modern financial institutions. This tour will take you to the city of San Bernardino, wich is located by the famous lake Ypacarai. On our way to San Bernardino we will be visiting the followin cities: Luque: Established in 1636. Unmistakable signs of Luque are the gold and silver craftsmanship, leather and Karanda´y craftsmaship, music and the production of harps and guitars. Aregua: The distinctive landmarks of this pretty colonial towns are its beautiful and calm landscapes. The ko and chorori Hills. Tis craftsmanship in clay and the production of strawberry. Itagua: Establiched in 1728. This city is famous for its “ÑANDUTI” weave, a cobweb like lace (tablecloths, table covers, dresses, etc.) San Bernardino: Is the summer city par excelente Capiata: Its parish church is a jewel of he baroque art of the Franciscans. The Hand carved altar was recently restored.

Today we will explore more about the Golden Circuit. Departing from Asuncion, we will visit the church of Yaguarón, an 18th century Franciscan temple and we will continue towards the Paraguarí mountain ranges. In Paraguarí, a visit to the historical city of Piribebuy, continuing to the Basilica of Caacupé, where the Cathedral of the Patron Saint of all Paraguayans, the Virgen de Caacupé (Virgin of Caacupé). After visiting this town we will continue to San Ignacio Guazu and visiting its Jesuit Museam to end the day in Santa Maria Town.

Departure from Asunción for the South. We will visit Yaguaron (the Franciscan temple), Villa Florida, San Miguel (wool crafts), San Ignacio Guazu (with the Diocesan Museum of Jesuit Art, you will find statues of saints and objects of great value, besides manuscripts and archaeological ceramics). Also workshops are offered in painting, ceramics, wood carving and Baroque music.

Visit a local Yerbatera to learn about the Ilex paraguariensis plant. You should know that the history of the Jesuit missions in Paraguay is closely linked to the use of yerba mate. Then visits to the Jesuit reductions of Trinidad and Jesus. One of the most important constructions of the 30 Jesuit Towns in the region is the Guaraní Santísima Trinidad del Paraná Jesuit Mission. It presents a majesty and grandeur that symbolizes the culmination of the Baroque and is characterized by the replacement of wooden posts and frameworks with the use of stone ashlars. Without a doubt, the highlight is the incredible richness and variety of its ornamental remains sculpted in stone. The grandeur of the Plaza Mayor is also an indication of its significance as a center of demonstration of power, where army parades, large processions and theatrical and musical performances were held. As for the musical arts, Trinidad became a point of reference in choral matters. At the scheduled time pick up at your hotel and transfer to Posadas in Argentina. Once at Posadas you will meet your transfer that will take you to your lodge in Puerto Valle.

Today we have to cover 335 kilometers to reach El Soberbio, home of the Moconá falls. On the way we will visit San Ignacio Jesuitic Ruins a monumental complex declared a World Heritage Site that, today, is the best preserved mission in Argentina. During the tour we will learn about the history of the Jesuit Roque González Santa Cruz, the religious who founded a mission in the 17th century aimed at evangelizing the native population. Can you recognize which movie these ruins appeared in? During the tour, which includes a beautiful light and sound show, we will appreciate the architecture of its carved stone buildings. In these constructions we will also see various sculptural details of Baroque origin, interpreted and developed by indigenous artists of the time. At the end of the visit we will continue our drive until we reach La Ruta del Té complex. The Tea Route is a family project created to enjoy tea in contact with nature, its objective is to open the door of history, the relationship with tea and to tell those who want to know the process from the leaf to the cup. The Route is conceived as a unique and unforgettable cultural experience; It is a journey to the senses where aromas, flavors and colors intermingle. After a guided visit lunch. Afterwards we will continue our drive to El Soberbio, arrival and drop off at your jungle lodge.

At the scheduled time pick up at the lodge and transfer to Moconá Waterfalls navigations port. Then once back from the sailing experience transfer back to the lodge.

Today we will need to do 328 kilometers until we reach Puerto iguazú city, the gateaway to the Iguazú falls. On the way we will visit Wanda Mines. The soil of Misiones is very characteristic and known both for its properties and for its color. The basalt of this locality has 93 percent iron oxide, which is the reason for the color of its surface. “The red land” is undoubtedly a distinctive factor of the province and above it rises not only the immense Misiones jungle, but also many of the attractions of Misiones.The Wanda Mines and their history are surprising. In the past, part of these lands were destined for yerba mate, an industry led by several people. One of them was the German Otto Bemberg, who after several years without achieving the profitability he expected, decided to close his company. To do this, he chose to compensate his employees with their land, many of whom decided to live there. Among them was the married couple Amalia Bogado and Victor Enebelo who, while washing their clothes in the stream, suffered a cut from a stone. Years later, his sons Higinio and Hector Enebelo began exploring the land, verifying the existence of a mine with semi-precious stones. They are the ones who decide to leave a record in the Directorate of Mines and Geology with the name of Selva Irupé, marking its discovery in 1976. We will also take a breath in a local cascade near by the jungle before continuing our drive to Puerto Iguazú.

Known as a sacred land for the Guarani natives, land of enchantment and legend, and center of energy and flowing waters, this declared worldwide heritage by the UNESCO and one of the New 7 Wonders consists in 275 falls (most of them are on the Argentinean side) some of them up to 80 meters high turning this into a fantastic landscape, making it one of the magical quietness of the jungle and water’s clatter. Located over 67.000 hectares of the Iguazu National Park, being the richest flora and fauna reserve. The ecological train, the circuits and the paths allows the visitor to admire each one of the falls from different angles, like the majestic ‘Devil’s Throat’ spectacle. Experience the Argentine side of the magnificent Iguazu Falls in three parts. Devil’s Throat: Before doing the other two paths, board a little train for a 4 km ride to Devil’s Throat Station surrounding the upper part of the Iguazu River. From here, walk by a bridge walkway that leads to the balcony of the Devil’s Throat. Upper Walk: A walk of 500 meters long and lasts about 45 minutes seeing the Two Sisters, Bosetti, Adam and Eve, Bernabe Mendez, Mbiguá and San Martin falls from the upper part. There’s a choice to rappel down or to take a 4 x 4 vehicle to the lower part of the falls. Lower Path: With a professional tourist guide, walk approximately 1,300 meters along a foot path for about 1.5 hrs. viewing the falls from below. Bordering Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, the Brazilian side of Iguaçu offers a panoramic view of the Falls, looking straight over at the Argentinean side. On the Brazilian side you'll have an up-close and more direct view of the towering Devil's Throat Waterfall and you'll soon realize why Eleanor Roosevelt said, Poor Niagara' when she saw this waterfall for the first time. Having soaked up the view of this Natural World Wonder, your transfer will take you directly to the Puerto Iguazú Airport (IGR).

This tour visits to typical neighborhoods like La Boca, which retains the spirit of Italian immigration and Palermo with its big green spaces, exclusive avenues and first class bars and restaurants. The Recoleta, marked by a French style, is one of the fanciest residential neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, with great cultural activity and spaces dedicated to the arts. The Colon Theater, the National Congress, and the Presidential Palace are some of the many spots that deserve to be admired. For three hours, you will experience the highlights of Buenos Aires, to allow for an appreciation of the city as a whole. In the evening we will pick you up at the hotel for a one hour private tango lesson in a studio. Then we will go to a milonga to enjoy with the locals. A Milonga is the place where the locals go if they want to dance tango. If you don’t feel like dancing enjoy a glass of wine and taste some empanadas as you watch the amateur dancers on the dance floor. During the evening, our expert Tango guide will tell the passengers about the history, currents, codes, etc., so that they understand what they are seeing and learn what Tango is all about.

The picturesque canals, islands, and houses on stilts of the Tigre Delta are just a 45-minute drive from Buenos Aires. We will depart from the city heading north along Avenida Costanera, enjoying the impressive view of the widest river in the world, the Río de la Plata. Passing by the Club de Pescadores, Aeroparque, and the River Plate Stadium. The tour continues along Avenida General Paz towards the north, heading to the city of Tigre, located 36 km from the center of Buenos Aires. A natural paradise of rivers, canals, and islands, it has the only freshwater delta in the world. This insular area is called the Argentine Venice. Here, we will make a stop, and you will have free time at the Fluvial Station. Afterward, we will continue the tour by visiting the "Puerto de Frutos," an open-air market where you can buy typical Argentine crafts, food, drinks, souvenirs, wooden crafts, and admire the landscape, the Delta, and its canals. Also, you can see houses, restaurants, and shops. Next, we will explore Paseo Victorica, the Naval Museum, and the Tigre Art Museum, with the opportunity to disembark and take photos. (Entrance fees to the museums are not included; admission is optional). At the end of the visit, we will return to the City of Buenos Aires and drop off passengers at their hotel. Note: As this is a private activity, the timings and places of interest may vary according to the passengers' and local guide's preferences. At Puerto de Frutos, we will board a boat to enjoy a 1-hour navigation through the Luján, Carapachay, Angostura, Espera, and Sarmiento rivers, returning to the starting point, Tigre Fluvial Station. The tour has been designed to explore five of the main rivers in the first section of islands of the Paraná Delta. During the journey, we will be able to observe characteristic places of Tigre and its Delta, such as the Buenos Aires Rowing Club, Canottieri Italiani, Regatas La Marina, and many other clubs that are part of the history of Argentine rowing. During the ride, you will see Parque de la Costa, Casino Trilenium, the Deliberative Council, and the Tigre Cultural Center, better known as Tigre Hotel, located at the end of Paseo Victorica. Another important point during the tour is the Sarmiento Museum, where you can find the summer house of the Argentine hero Domingo Faustino Sarmiento (father of Argentine education). Navigating through small rivers and internal streams, you will enjoy one of the most wonderful and beloved places for many Argentine families, discovering houses, schools, and churches through which you can recreate the unique island life. Once the tour is finished, we will return to the starting point, Puerto de Frutos.

At the indicated time, we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) for your departure flight.
