Overview
Using our bike cycles, we are leaving San Pedro de Atacama behind, then after 5 km we find the Salt mountain range which it is one of the mandatory stops during this trip. Inside this mountain range we will be delighted by the rock formations like the Dinosaur Vale as well as the Dearth Valley which its red and white colours will make us feel that we are on Mars. Furthermore, at the end of this valley a massive sand dune will allow us to Sandboard on its fine volcanic sand for about an hour. Finally, we will follow the paths of the Salt mountain range so we can return to San Pedro.
Recommendations: comfortable clothing and shoes (no sandals), water, sunscreen and a wax candle.
