Overview
This circuit leads travelers through the Lerma Valley up to “El Carril“, where the direction of the tour starts heading westward. After Chicoana the trip continues along the Quebrada de Escoipe (Escoipe Ravine). As the vehicle climbs the Cuesta del Obispo, there are many panoramic views. Following the Tin Tin Straight, visitors come upon a small, ancient town called Cachi. It is a very picturesque village in the Calchaqui Valleys, where the traditions and myths are still alive. Next, visit one of the most famous archaeological museums and take some free time to walk around the village meeting the people who are living legends. After lunch the tour returns through “Los Cardones National Park” to Salta. Lunch not included.
