Overview
For those who do not have the possibility to stay in El Chaltén, we offer the
option to do the Rafting excursion in the Rio de las Vueltas, which leaves from
Calafate at 8:00 AM and returns at the end of the day. Pick up from the hotels in El Calafate are include. After crossing the 220 km, that separates this city from El Chaltén, our guides will welcome the passengers at approximately at 11AM and provide them with a lunch box while reviewing information about possible short trails/hikes available in the area they can partake in before rafting. At 2:50pm, the group reconvenes to begin the Rafting activity. We will return to Calafate at approximately 8:30PM.
Children under 12 to 18 must be accompanied by one of their parents. Minimum age 12 years old.
Difficulty: average (no previous Rafting experience required).
Duration: approx. 10 hours.
-Regular tour departs everyday from November to March, pick up time around 08.00 am.
-Private tour departure schedule is coordinated previously with the passenger depending on their availability.
