Overview
Admiring the celestial vault from the Elqui Valley is an experience for all the senses and for the soul.
You can observe using a Sky-Watcher 20” Dobsonian telescope differentiating the contrast and full prominence of the night sky in the southern hemisphere.
We meet in Pisco Elqui and leave for a place called The Island, a solitary and clear skied area inside the mountain 15 minutes away. We will share a pleasant experience amidst a log fire inside an amphitheatre with a homemade pisco sour whilst listening to our bilingual guide.
Starting with an astronomy talk inside the amphitheatre, we will then 7 celestial objects approximately through a professional telescope, complemented by enjoyable interactions, understanding and identifying objects in the sky with the naked eye.
Note: Tour suitable for all ages.
Recomendations: wear comfortable and warm clothing; It is also recommended to have dinner before.
