Overview
Casablanca is located 75 km northwest of Santiago and it is a valley full of winemaking history. Over the years, it has become popular due to its very suitable ground for the growth of grapes and, of course, the production of wine. We will enter the valley until we reach the Casas del Bosque Vineyard, this place was founded in 1993 by Juan Cuneo Solari and it was one of the first family wineries in the area. We will have the opportunity to tour around the facilities, witness all the details of the winemaking process and enjoy a delicious lunch. Though small, this boutique winery produces 75.000 cases of wine per year and over 80% of their production is exported to the most demanding markets abroad. Casas del Bosque produces a wide variety of wines such as Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon. As part of today’s adventure, we will be welcomed to taste some of these amazing wines. After today’s journey through the Casablanca Valley, we will return to Santiago.
