Overview
The Valdés Experience circuit stands out for the variety and quality of the experiences offered. The first stop is the Estancia San Lorenzo. Naturalist guides lead the trekking through exclusive areas of a penguin colony where more than 600,000 Magellanic penguins live in the height of the season! After enjoying a tasty lamb steak (lunch is not included) that is served in the estancia’s facilities, we will visit the Punta Norte area, the site most likely for orcas watching (killer whale).
The third stage and golden touch of this trip is the Sunset with Whales in Puerto Pirámides. There will be a two-hour boat trip to see whales. The sunset offers, perhaps, the best hours of light to photograph these cetaceans.
