114 kilometers away from Iquique in the direction of the high plateau, the town of Pica is a place that looks like the perfect oasis in the middle of the desert, offering a warm landscape settled in a village of beautiful houses and good restaurants. Place to spend a moment of relaxation in a perfect environment, characteristic for its tropical fruits, such as mango, oranges, lemons, passion fruit and guavas, fruits that can be enjoyed in homemade ice cream or exquisite natural juices. Optional is the visit to Cocha Resbaladero, thermal bath framed in two natural tunnels made of volcanic rock. We finish with the visit to the town of La Tirana, where in July of each year, one of the most important and popular folkloricreligious celebrations of the country is celebrated.
