Overview
We set out for Puerto Pirámides 90 minutes after all other tours to Peninsula Valdés in order to avoid crowded the whale-watching boats. An hour later we arrive in the charming eco-friendly village of Puerto Pirámides. The whale-watching trip (regular or on the Yellow Submarine) is scheduled around noon. After the amazin “Whale Experience”, passengers can have have lunch at any of the restaurants or cafeterias of Puerto Pirámides. On our way back to Puerto Madryn, we make a stop at the Visitor Center Carlos Ameghino, a compendium of the natural wealth of the peninsula.
