Overview
We begin this wonderful experience from the Puerto Varas city going by the Panamerican road, 20 KM north to reach Frutillar city, from here we will go to Puerto Octay city, also located on the north bank of the lake, with a strong German
influence it was the most important gateway to the agricultural products to Osorno
city. We will see the ancient streets and the Main Square.
Over the next 54 km we pass the Hacienda Rupanco where agricultural and livestock activities give us a glimpse of the richness and fertility of the land. On the
route we will find Rupanco Lake will allow us to take pictures of a postcard with the mountains and volcanoes in the background.
Entre Lagos will be the first village that will open the door to Puyehue National
Park, because we are here with an old town that was a timber port and services,
from which drew the production of Puyehue and Rupanco lakes through a railroad
from Osorno city.
During this part of the route we can admire the wonderful country landscapes, and
prepare to enter the park, which boasts a wide variety of flora and fauna, in addition to its thermal waters, quarries high healing power that rises from the earth naturally.
