Overview
We will a drive a bit up north towards the Vilama area, where our excursion will take place. Our goal will be to reach the Salt mountain range and our way there we are going to appreciate and old fortress with petroglyphs to our delight. Then, walking for a while on a flat area, the Salt mountain range will show its natural esplendor for our delight, after this, we walk down throughout the Chulacao ravine where different rock formation will amaze us. Finally, On the Catarpe vale, the Devil’s Throat circuit will provide us with more highlight with its marvelous rock formations so a few minutes later we get into our car to go back to San Pedro de Atacama.
Recommendations: Comfortable clothing and shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat.
