  1. DAY 12 BARILOCHE - LAKE CROSSING - PUERTO VARAS

    Lake crossing from Bariloche to Puerto Varas with transfers hotel/port/hotel.
    This mythical road through the Andean Patagonian Lakes joins Argentina and Chile. Through it, the native huilliches and mapuches traveled for over four centuries, leaving their mark on the legends of the area and a history that is coming back to life throughout this trip. The Cruce Andino gives us the chance to live out a once-in-a-lifetime moment, surrounded by aweinspiring scenery.
    Morning transfer from the hotel to Puerto Pañuelo. Departing from this port, on the Llao Llao peninsula, we’ll sail for an hour through the most important branch of the Lago Nahuel Huapi.
    Prepare your camera for the best sights of the Islote Centinela (Centinela Island,) resting place of Perito Francisco P. Moreno, father of the Argentinean National Parks. Also, get your heart
    ready to be astounded by the beauty of the Blanca (white) waterfalls and from there continue on to Puerto Blest.
    Once you dock, you can tour the Bahía Blest (Blest Bay) and Rio Frías and its surprising and unusual green waters, coming down from the pure glaciers of Cerro Tronador.
    You can make a stop at this port and stay at the recently remodeled Puerto Blest Hotel, where you can enjoy the magical location, go into the vast Selva Valdiviana, enjoy the multiple trekking options available and see the majestic Cascada de los Cántaros.     After docking at Puerto Blest, a bus then takes you through the woods for a 15 minute drive (approximately 3 km or 1.8 miles.) The bus follows the Lago Frías along a winding road with breathtaking scenery that leads to Puerto Alegre, on the bank of Lago Frías. Once there, you get on another boat and sail on the lake for about 25 minutes up to Puerto Frías.
    After completing all immigration and customs procedures, a 4×4 bus built especially for the mountain takes you to the highest point of the entire crossing to cross the international border with Chile. You’ll see the unbeatable landscapes of the Selva Valdiviana up to Peulla.
    This ecological town, located at the heart of the Parque Nacional Vicente Pérez Rosales, is without a doubt a place where nature and magic become one. The thousand-year-old forest and lush vegetation amazes all visitors with its stunning views, waterfalls, streams, lakes and variety of birds. This and several outdoor activities make Peulla a daily visited tourist attraction, and this is our choice destination to stop for lunch.
    After lunch, a boat will take you to Lago Todos los Santos, heading to Petrohue, where you’ll travel by land again, visiting the Saltos de Petrohue (entrance fee is not included on the Cruce Andino fee, and it’s not visited year-round, only during months when access to them and daylight allows.) Finally, following the Lago Llanquihue, you arrive at the city of Puerto Varas.

  2. DAY 13 PUERTO VARAS: HD OSORNO VOLCANO

    Half day tour to visit Osorno volcano.
    We begin our tour from Puerto Varas city, “The City of Roses” going to Osorno Volcano, by the shore of Llanquihue lake. We’ll enjoy the Amazing landscape with the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes, until we get to Ensenada where we start to ascend to the Osorno Ski Mountain center, located at 1.240 meters of altitude.
    We will stay there about an hour, will be enough time for sightseeing, take pictures, and appreciate a unique view to the summit of the volcano with glaciers of eternal snow, the Calbuco volcano, Llanquihue Lake and the Pacific Ocean.
    As an option passenger can take a cup of coffee or sandwich at the coffee shop of the place or take the lift to ascend to 1450 meters altitude in the Primavera Station (Spring) or 1750 meters at Glaciar Station (Glacier) where there is a wonderful and breathtaking views of Llanquihue Lake.

  3. DAY 14 PUERTO VARAS: FD CHILOÉ ISLAND – ANCUD, CAULÍN AND PUÑIHUIL PENGUIN COLONY

    Full day departure to the well-known Chiloé island.
    We begin the tour in our way to Pargua, south of Puerto Varas city; here we will aboard a ferry to sail through the Chacao Channel, this channel separates the continent of Chiloe Island. During the navigation we see sea wolves, pelicans and sea birds endemic in this area.
    The ferry berths at Chacao pier, here we see the houses that are built with Alerce wood, and the Churches that are National Heritage Site, then continue along a coast route and we are going to visit Caulín beach, a place very famous for the oysters an a rich
    marine fauna.
    Later we will go to Puñihuil beach; there we get a boat, that will take us to a small island where we find the magallanes Penguin and Humboldt Penguin, this is the place where this two species make their nests, an during generations they have coexisted together, making this islands the only place in the world where this happens.
    The tour guide will explain to us the way of life of these birds, the surroundings and the abundance of food that makes possible that these islands become a wild paradise. It’s important to say that Puñihuil was declared National Heritage for its ecological relevance.
    Later we continue our trip to Ancud city, where we can see the San Antonio Fort; this historic place is located in the highest part of the city, built at the latest part of XVIII Century and is part of one of the last Spanish fortications in our country, the Local Churches Heritage Foundation, the Mains Square, and the Central Market,
    this one offers many gastronomic and crafts options of the island.

  4. DAY 15 PUERTO VARAS - PUERTO MONTT - SANTIAGO

    Transfer from the hotel in Puerto Varas to Puerto Montt airport. Flight to Santiago. Transfer from the airport to the hotel.
    Afternoon city tour along the main spots of this city, by the foot of the Andes.
    Santiago is vibrant and cosmopolitan, full of culture and activities. We invite you to visit this city together with a local guide, with whom you will be able to know the facts, anecdotes and idiosyncrasies of our capital and the best tips to enrich your experience.
    We will visit the historical center, a mixture of heritage, culture and local traditions. Here you will find the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Palacio de La Moneda and the Paseo Bandera, a world example of tactical urbanism. Then we will visit the Barrio Lastarria, a must-see that combines art, design and gastronomy.

  5. DAY 16 SANTIAGO: VALPARAÍSO & WINE TOUR

    In a small group we will tour Valparaíso, a city with charm and character, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, we will walk along the Alegre and Concepción Hills, admiring the street
    art, the eclectic architecture, its colorful houses, the steep stairs and the picturesque elevators that date from the 19th century.
    In the Casablanca Valley, innovation and traditions come together to create world-class wines, in a unique terroir, marked by the influence of the Pacific Ocean and the Coastal Range.
    We will enjoy the premium tour, where we will learn about the winemaking process and taste its best wines, including one of its icon wines.
